On Monday, Rep. Eddie Lucio III (D-Brownsville) filed HB 2107, a bill to make the Compassionate Use Program more inclusive. This compassionate medical cannabis bill
is identical to SB 269, which was introduced by Sen. José Menendez in December.

Yesterday, Rep. Jason Isaac (R-Dripping Springs) signed on as a joint author of HB 2107! Please contact your legislators in support of this important legislation.
With bipartisan support, medical cannabis is proving to be an issue that is less about politics and more about people. Everyday, patients are prescribed pharmaceutical drugs that are often dangerous and addictive. In many instances, medical cannabis is a safer alternative.
