Ten-year-old Alexis Bortell is a confirmed speaker! She suffers from intractable epilepsy and had to flee Texas because only cannabis (including CBD and THC) has quelled her seizures.

A message from Team Alexis:

“After the Texas Legislature failed to pass inclusive medical cannabis legislation and a year in exile, Alexis will be making her brave return to DFW to officially launch the Team Alexis ground campaign to bring ALL medical cannabis refugees home!

“She will be speaking live at the Fort Worth Convention Center Sunday, February 28 between 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. CST. She will be available for interviews and questions on-site between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday only as she must return to Denver to take her evening medication.

“Finally, if only for a few hours, Alexis will once again be able to stand with her fellow Texans in her home state.”

Several of our coalition partners will also be present, plus a featured panel on Texas laws and regulation presented by Texas A&M Law School moderated by Professor Frank Snyder.

I hope to see you there… Swing by our booth to say hello!
